Is it difficult to get a Specialist Mortgage?
Everyone’s situation is different, for most people applying for a mortgage is straight forwards, especially if you are employed on a permanent basis, salaried, have a nice deposit and have good credit.
But not every person falls into this criteria and we are here to try and help you get a mortgage. The downside to our job is when you do need a specialist mortgage, we are limited to the amount of mortgage lenders we can use.
If you have missed a few payments here and there, but the rest of your credit history is pretty easy. Your mortgage application may appeal to a few mortgage lenders but as soon as your history becomes a little complicated through bankruptcy, limited company or even having a small deposit, most lenders won’t even take a look.
When it comes to specialist complex mortgages you need a broker who can look at all options for you, who don’t put barriers in the way and who do have access to the whole of the mortgage market.
The mortgage brokers we deal with are specialists in this area, be it a discharged bankrupt, self employed or even taking retained profit from a limited company, the mortgage brokers really can help.
